Ugh, I keep trying to force myself to like GoT, but it’s not happening. I recently finished watching the first season and honestly, I’m not sure if I’m too dumb for this show or if it’s just not my thing. It’s gorgeous, though, so maybe I’ll try to come up with something.. idk.
I think that there’s really no point in making a coloring tutorial for my Pushing Daisies graphic, you can just download the PSD file and easily figure it out yourself if you want to know how I did it. I used the same coloring for almost every screencap, only sometimes you might want to lower the opacity of the second selective coloring layer or just delete it.
These other graphics are so old, though. I didn’t save any psds and I can’t remember what exactly I did with them. For Gracie’s edit, I think played with the channels a little bit (I explained the whole thing here, the only thing I didn’t mention in that post is that I often place one image on top of the other and then do the same checking-unchecking channels thing to get my images to look like this), added a Noise filter, and that’s it. If you want to know about the coloring, it’s all gradient maps, nothing too complicated and you sure don’t need any tutorials for that (tho in case you do, there are some tips in the same post I linked you to).
First of all, I’d love to post more graphics, but none of the shows I’m currently watching inspire me and I can’t seem to get into anything better, so I’m kind of stuck here. If you have any suggestions, I would be more than willing to take them! The same goes with tutorials and whatnot: if there’s anything specific you’d like a tutorial and/or psd of, I’ll gladly do it (though I must say, I absolutely suck at explaining things, especially with my poor english.)
I do have a LJ and I’ve been meaning to start using it properly for ages, but I still mainly use it only to make my lurking in some communities easier and that’s that. My old tumblr was foreveryellowskies, though I highly suggest not looking it up if you haven’t before… you don’t need to see my old embarassing Glee edits and my failed attempts at making gifs, lol.
